Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Edutig regarding your access to and use of the Edutig website, platform, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By creating an account, requesting a demo, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you are using the Services on behalf of an educational institution, employer, or other entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

Edutig is a cloud-based education management platform designed to help educational institutions manage academic operations, staff and payroll, finance and accounting, administrative workflows, and communications. Features and functionality may vary based on the subscription plan selected.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time, with reasonable notice where practicable. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

To access certain features of the Services, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with these obligations.

Access to certain features of the Services requires a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, depending on the plan selected. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as expressly stated in a written agreement.

You agree to pay all applicable fees and taxes associated with your subscription. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account. We may change our pricing at any time, with notice provided before the change takes effect.

You retain all ownership rights to the data you upload, submit, or generate through the Services (“Customer Data”). By using the Services, you grant Edutig a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, process, and store Customer Data solely to provide, maintain, and improve the Services.

We will not use Customer Data for purposes unrelated to the Services without your consent, except as required by law. You represent that you have obtained all necessary rights and consents to upload and process Customer Data through our platform.

You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for all activity conducted through your account and for ensuring that your use of the Services complies with applicable laws, regulations, and institutional policies.

You agree not to, and not to permit others to:

• Use the Services in any manner that violates applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or related systems or networks.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services.
• Upload, transmit, or distribute any viruses, malware, or harmful code.
• Use the Services to send unsolicited communications or spam.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Services.
• Use the Services to process sensitive data without adequate legal basis or authorization.

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Services, including software, designs, trademarks, logos, and content provided by Edutig, are and will remain the exclusive property of Edutig and its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any right, title, or interest in our intellectual property except for the limited license to use the Services as permitted herein.

Each party agrees to protect the confidentiality of any proprietary or confidential information disclosed by the other party in connection with the Services. Confidential information may not be disclosed to third parties except as necessary to perform obligations under these Terms or as required by law.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account cancellation features available in the Services. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or if required by law.

Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual property, confidentiality, liability, and indemnification provisions.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Edutig and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Services.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Services during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to liability.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Edutig and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or in connection with your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party right.

These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Lahore, Pakistan.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
